What is Hypnotherapy?

I’ve had people ask me what exactly is Hypnotherapy. I could give you some scripted Wikipedia version, but here is my take on it. And if you are wondering, yes I have been to a Hypnotherapist and it was amazing for me! One day I will give y’all the extended version of how that came to be. 😀

Hypnotherapy uses guided relaxation techniques to quiet the mind and the body so that you will be open to the changes, suggestions and healing that you are seeking in your life. Some people call it a trance-like state, others say it is the most relaxed they have ever been, and yet some people may actually fall asleep during their session. Either way is perfectly fine as your subconscious mind will still hear and absorb everything that is being said.

Hypnotherapy has been proven to be a successful tool in treating numerous conditions such as PTSD, anxiety, depression, fears, phobias, smoking cessation, weight management, abuse, trauma, and so much more.
